Walk the Labyrinth
Two Tuesdays:
April 3 and May 1 from 11AM-4PM
Smith Memorial Student Union, Room 333
Take time out for rest and reflection by using this ancient tool for prayer and meditation.
Cultures all over the world have used labyrinths dating back to 3500BCE. The earliest labyrinths were carved in caves. Today, people are “rediscovering” labyrinths as a powerful tool for meditation, connecting with nature, and healing. Many people like walking labyrinths during times of transition. Take a break in your day for quiet and centering, or even just to try something new! You can spend as little as 15 minutes to walk, or enjoy the quiet setting for as long as you want. These walks are free and open to the public.
Feel free to contact Carol Joy at caroljoy@pdx.edu for more information or to be placed on the labyrinth listserv, or if you are interested in volunteering with the labyrinth team!
